Donald Sutherland, Faye Dunaway and Christopher Plummer star in “Ordeal by Innocence,” a thrilling mystery by Agatha Christie! After a two-year expedition to Antarctica, Dr. Arthur Calgary (Sutherland) returns to England with a mission: to return the address book left in his car before his departure by a young hitchhiker – Jack Argyle. Jack, however, is now dead...executed for murdering his cruel mother (Dunaway). The only problem is...Jack didn’t do it. He was driving with Calgary at the time of the murder. Why, then, does no one wish to reopen the case and clear his name? Not Jack’s father (Plummer), not the secretary (Diana Quick), not Jack’s sister (Sarah Miles) nor her husband (Ian McShane), not the housekeeper (Annette Crosbie), not even the police detective (Michael Elphick). Nobody wants to reopen the case, because – as Dr. Calgary will soon discover – they’re all suspects!
