Aidan Quinn creates a bold, brutal new Crusoe as a relentlessly greedy slave trader driven to sea for one more load of human cargo. His crew drowned, Crusoe is washed ashore on a tropical island naked and alone, where he must carve a new existence from the wild terrain. As he learns to master this strange, primitive world, he discovers that he is not alone. The island harbors cannibals whose fierce gods demand ritual sacrifices. The sea has delivered Crusoe to be their next victim. Now the slave trader is hunted by the people he once trapped and sold, and Crusoe must battle for his own freedom.
